  • LOOKING BACK

    Sitting in the car,
    Looking back,
'Twas the best summer by far,
    Of the whole stack.

    Works of Nature's art,
    Are golden leaves,
    And some apart,
    Are fallen beauties,
Bronzed, on the ground, waiting winter start.

To get ready for our Thanksgiving trip,
    Must follow our list,
    Keep our grip,
    Ahem,
    Stop at the ATM.

  • Love the pictures, and the idea behind your poem, Doug.

  • Gosh, you are up to date with an ATM card. Wil absolutely won't have one. Guess we don't need it. We have a credit card and the checkbook all the time. Now that I have my own checking acct. I try to keep more money in my pocket than Wil usually has. I don't like getting caught with nothing in my pocket and that has happened when he was supposed to have taken care of it.

  • Thanks for the beautiful words. The leaves are so pretty on the ground in my back yard hate to mow them up. Judi

  • Do you know I have yet to use an ATM? I'd never remember the pin for one thing.
