This October e'en,
Across our land,
Young folks can be seen,
Carrying on tradition grand.
The news ?
It's time for boos,
Rather than booze !
And there were more,
Didn't count,
Maybe a score,
Some were frightful,
None were a bore,
All nicely sightful.

Sounds like you gave out a bit of Halloween cheer. I would loved to have but no kids here again this year. They all go where it's profitable to go and who can blame them. It is a fun night I always enjoyed a lot.

I so loved the kids at Halloween. I didn't have them this year since I moved into an apartment. I have a friend who emailed me on her laptop saying, "I am sitting out on our porch dressed as a witch to give out candy to the kids. I brought my laptop to use while I wait!" I love her take on kids and Halloween!
