Foul FowlSeeing things again,
Denizens of the sky,
Ferocious are they,
And for blood they try.Swooping low,
I fear for their prey,
Hope they are not slow,
And can evade a slay.

Most cloud beasts and birds are nice an peaceful, but this wide open beak gives me the shivers.

To me, that looks like a winter sky.
Winter gives me the shivers too.
ryc-I like to forget the past. Mixed in with the joy is the pain of knowing that is over and I'm alone.
That is frightening!
Our hawk population has increased. Because of it , our squirrel population has diminished. I don't like hawks since they prey on too many little critters that I do like. Big Bullies!
Stay clear of all that bad stuff. Ok?
winter racing across those Rockies, you live under such vast skies...
Reminds me of a crow's beak---which in turn reminds me of the story and movie "The Birds". Yep, definitely creepy!!
Oooh, that's neat.
Oh good poem and photo Doug. Judi
