  • THOR GLOWERS

    Frowning he hangs over town,
Silent he is as he goes,
Gray and threatening he has a frown,
Soon the water from above flows.

    A fierce but short rain,
    Washes our earth,
    Leaving little pain,
    For green rebirth.

    Through the day,
    He hovers,

    Dousing with water,
    Here, there and everywhere,
    He's a spotter,
    With liquid to spare.

    Ah, but yet you see,
Some summer for you and me,

  • Enjoyed the pictures.

  • You take pictures like I do. What catches your eye. I "love" the bridge shot. I've done those before, bridge shots...very time consuming. I also like driving up to Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Si, Cougar Mountain (we have tons of them  here ;) , etc. And just start shooting shots. Now days? I take them of car wrecks....but, I still love a good weather related photo.

  • Tut tut, looks like rain.

  • That last picture made my heart ache. My childhood home had a bridge like that and we kids would use that bridge for any number of things like dangling from it's sides and fishing. I can still hear the rumble when a car went over it! Thank you for a trip to memory lane!
