  • AMONG GOOD THINGS

    In winter here,
    Green mountians become white,
       Seemingly near,
    That gorgeous sight,
    To me is very dear.

    The wondrous brilliance,
    The gemlike sparkle of sunlight,,
     From the mountains glance,
Though my neck muffled,  I'm in high dellight.

    Very little better than:
    FROSTED ROCKIES

  • In Tucson, I would love to watch the snow level of my beloved Catalina Mtns.  Always looked to see where the snow line was--high or low.  One time there was no line----the snow had reached Tucson.  What fun we had for a day.

  • Heard you were having snow. We did too but only a couple of inches.

  • I love this poem! How great is frosted Rockies! I like that the snow covers the imperfections in the earth...the dead brown grass, weeds, etc. The snow makes everything look clean and fresh and sparkly! I'm so glad you are in "high delight"! That makes me smile!

Happy Sunday to you, "Dad"! Hugs to you and your sweet wife!!!

    Love,

  • It sure is pretty to look at.

  • I would like to see those "frosted rockies".  I'll settle for your wonderful poem and great photo.
