SAVINGSMy little camera,
Mines ore,
Not one chimera,
But our scenery and more.A monument dedicated to some schoolchildren,
Killed in a schoolbus tragedy,
At a rail crossing,
December 1961,
Near Greeley.
We stopped and remembered.
Late on the way back,
The clouds are on track,
And mountains way back,
Water in front, no lack.Clouds drawing strange doodles,
Is that a deer with squashed antlers above ?
Strains my noodles,
But the sunlight shining under I love.

Moving , this stone memorial .
Moving, those grandiose and changing shows offered by the sky in autumn . We feel small .
In friendship, Doug .

I so enjoy our trips "together".
How very sad for the families of those children. Happened a year before I was born. Beautiful pictures! As always.
that memorial is haunting...children gone before i was even born. i do see a deer in that last cloud photo. i hope you are having a lovely weekend....
Very touching, and the clouds speak much.
Woderful pictures and peotry. Judi
The memorial has touched my heart -- we are changed by those tragedies regardless of distance or lack of familiarity. We are changed nonetheless. Your Colorado skies are strong, illuminating and do tell powerful tales "drawing starnge doodles" as they do. It is always so good to read your words, Doug. ~ Jeanne
I saw the deer. Wonderful photos . So sad about the school children . God Bless.
