THE HOUSE ON A HILLIn the northwest,
Is the house on the hill,
Up against the forest,
I love it, always will.To the right,
Is the conjuring tree,
Just out of sight,
Sun trying to break through you can see.Staying in the wild,
As it should,
Is the four legged child,
Trying to feed and be good.Looking from the mild,
From the house on the hill,
At beasts of the wild,
I long for them still.

happy thanksgiving.
how are you doing? how's the physical therapy? what are you thankful for?
i cooked for 500 people-garlic bread, salad, roast, spaghetti, rolls; and cookies for 14 of my friends from half way across the U.S. and then a large tray of eel and avacado sushi for my mother's relatives and chilled cucumber and grilled pork chops my father's relatives and now i'm cooking stone soup for my family- who went to fix a flat tire.
i'm done with my term papers and am back home for the weekend and off from work.
