  • THINGS SUCK

Which is a thing the young say,
A very apt description in a way,
On the other hand,  a vacuum cleaner takes things away,
Would that my sore shoulder be sucked of pain.

Ah,  but this too shall pass,
And good things are happening s well,
A pasture of good green grass,
For me, now,  rings a bell.

    Aaahm, in heaven,
    Number seven .

  • I like to say sux. lol Its not just a young thing. hahahaha Well, maybe because I teach at a college my vocabulary tends to be young. Well, since most the people I know are young, most the things I do and like are youngish. My family says I should grow up. rofl.
What is the point in that. hahahaha
I hope you get better soon my friend.

  • Yes, it shall pass–and soon, I hope!!!

  • “This too shall pass.”  How true.  That’s ok for the bad stuff to go away.

The good things we want to keep around as long as we can.  Feel better now.  Ok?

    HUGS

  • Enjoy some hot showers running over that shoulder.  Then, relax.  I think you and I are stuck with the pains we have so developing our abilities to concentrate past it is the only answer I have come up with.  Excellet poem and you are right, it all passes away … to something else.

  • Hey Riddiger!  I’ve been away sailing those “southern courses” that you wrote about in your poem Surcease.  I thought about you!  I understand shoulder pain…I hope you get relief soon.  Peace

  • I hear the shoulder. Not sure if mine is coming from the neck so not sure where all to rub Ben Gay.

  • I hope you feel better soon.

  • This a word unusual for me . It has probably so many meanings I dare not use it .
Take care to your shoulder .

    In friendship
