I dreamt I was a digital camera,
Scenes of my life it held,
I went through,
And deleted the bad things,
On completion of this,
I had a compendium of beauty,
But had erased evidence of lessons learned.

Takes a tad of bad to make the good appreciated I think.

So true . yes it would be good to take out the bad or sad things memorized but we would loose our esperience and our roots by the way . Short poem but grand reflection , Doug .

Wow thats something to think about. Erasing the bad things–but that would take out some of the good too. I will have to think about that.
At night i am like that. All my dreams aredeleted in the morning, some were great , some were nightmares.

I agree. I experienced 3 bad marriages, and truly appreciate my marriage to Richard. He is a fine Christian man, that is very supportive.
I love the metaphor here…and I wonder if we’d lose more and more of our grip on reality if we DID have that ability to delete the bad from our lives…perhps that’s why I think every photographer should have experience in film before attemptin digitl…
