  • - – - – - WATCHING THE MOON CHANGE – - – - -

    Laying on the car seat,

    Looking out at the moon,

    Thinking, “It’s neat,”

    And seeing cotton ball clouds,

    Lit by said moon,

    Here and there strewn,

    Little noting change of course,

Dad’s at the helm, all is well,

Noting as we ride, the moon,

Seems to peek in first one window as we go,

    And then another,

Seems to follow us, yet does go,

From side to side and then to back,

Until I wake up when Dad carries me in.

  • I enjoyed this one so much!   I have watched the moon many times.  How good you put the experience on paper.

  • I also enjoyed looking out at the moon, with dad at the helm. Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.
