    DWYY

    Mid April it is,
    In its usual bent,
    Doing its usual fizz,
And we live with what is sent !
    ———————————————————
Beautiul day yesterday, sunny and above 82 degrees,
Today (Wednesday) nicely sunny but doing a 180 desgree  thingy.
about lunchtime turning cloudy, turning rainy and later
    beginning to snow.- — – - – about 10:30 PM now, grass
    and bushes quite snowy white,
    streets still wet.
There is a name for it, this grisly weather – - – -

     Swirlling, whirling,  we impatiently ride
    THE DENVER YO-YO

  • Yes, its snowing here in Parker, too! ~ Pete

“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.” Psalm 51:7

  • A snowy April day! Wow! Riding the Denver Yo-Yo made me laugh!

    Hugs and Stay warm!!!

  • 36 degrees at twenty minutes past dawn but it is supposed to warm up into the low sixties, going to be a lovely spring day here in Rhode Island.

It’s great to hear from you, Doug!

  • Just keep the snow out that way. We don’t want NO MORE!!! It was about 80 here yesterday but rain once again, is predicted for today and Friday. I have to go to Kansas City so hopefully it will hold off until I get home but it is cloudy already so doubt that happens.

  • Good morning, Doug! I think this snowy weather cannot last too much longer, well hopefully. It has been a strange winter, so who knows. The snow is finally disappearing here in NH, a lot faster than I had anticipated. It did get up to 60 yesterday, how wonderful that was.

Wishing you many sunny days in your future!

  • Sending virtual sun-thoughts in a westerly direction.

  • hahahaha
The Denver yoyo. Wonderful name! :)

  • Well Colorado is beautiful even if changeable…You can’t say it’s boring.

    Good to see you post.

I’m happy when you are feeling good!

  • Glad to see you “up on the board”, good buddy!  Yep, if you don’t like the weather, just wait 15 minutes.  I think Mark Twain said that, not sure.  Have a happy day!

    Hugs to you and Heather,

  • Think our Winter is gone now.

  • Great write for a reminder of Nature’s temperment.  Here in Ohio we see it, up and down.  We even had an Earthquake only two nights ago that rocked me a couple of times with tremors I felt quite well.  My whole house rolled a bit with the punches.  We have had quakes to ripple here before but this was the strongest one I have ever felt.  Nearly like a car might have hit the house or next door.  Anyway, over and done with for now and SPRING has SPRUNG.  The birds are singing consistently letting us know it is here and SPRING GROWTH is finally appearing.  I hope it continues in a moderate vein.  Heat really does me in anymore.

You sound as if you are feeling some better and I am so glad for it.  I think you and your humorous writes are winners, the best kind.

    Have lots of great days,

  • Sending you lots of (((HUGS)) and friendship smiles form this little lady in northern Ohio.

  • @TNuts -Deb, you are my favoritre FTL,  wish you  had been in the place I worked.
