    RAMBLIN’

    A  sunny walk,
    With a companion dear,
    Good talk,
    We each like to hear.

    At peace with the world,
    And each other,
    Memories unfurled,
    Of a dear Mother.

    Not scramblin’
    Our feet decide the pace,
    Just ramblin’
    In good grace.

  • What a sweet poem! And a beautiful photo! I like to ramble…walking and talking. It would be fun to ramble with you and your dear wife.

Hugs, and a wish for a Happy Friday, “Dad”!

  • The poem and the photo let us imagine easily this rambling of both you in this winding path in the green of the wood . How peaceful is that . It worth to be said in a poem .

    In friendship

  • Rainy and nippy here today. Might I walk your path?

  • Hi Doug. We received your surprise package in the mail today. The nature scenes are beautiful. How cool it must be to see a herd of live elk. Wow. And I can just imagine how gorgeous those outdoor images would be when covered in snow. But by far my favorite pictures are the happy healthy loving pictures that are you and your lovely lady Heather. I am truly blessed to be included in your list of dear freinds. I am very lucky to have your friendship. Thank you!

  • Oh, and did I mention the pretty card you sent my way? It is very special to me because you sent it. Well let me say what a nice surprise the whole package was.

By The Way: Your handwriting is very good.
