WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES
As it says in the old, old song,
Yesterday amid fall cleanup actions,
Heather did roses pick,
While I did the storage fractions.Apparently last of the season,
A cold front without a hot back,
The main reason,
And with it the white flack. This afternoon the sun is battling to emerge,
With little luck,
A bit of light doth surge,
Would that I could this weather duck.

As days of the winter pass, some will be shirtsleeve days,
And others a bit more grim.
Overall mild the winter be as usual, here
In our Eden.

Wil was wondering about our forecast and then your site went up and walla….Our predicted temps of 80+ today are beginning to fall as I write. It has been hot but only supposed to get into the low 50s with rain tomorrow. I have some day lilies to put in the ground as soon as I can tear Wil away from the Chief’s game and NASCAR. Thanks for the heads-up.
The roses are magnificent. The first snowfall is so pretty.
Those roses…Those beautiful roses! They are so perfect. Someone there is giving them some tender loving care.
As for us, we are looking forward to cooler weather.
Our “winter” is our better season. That’s when most of the rest of the Eastern half of the USA would like to be here.
We always turn on the Weather Channel when we get up in the morning, and saw that you were getting that white stuff. But, I also remember living in the Springs, and in a day or so, the snow would be gone. Wish it would be that way here. Usually, once it starts it sticks around for a looooooong time—-like until Spring!
The roses are so pretty. About the only things blooming around here are the autumn mums. We don’t have any, but neighbors across the street do. So just look out the window and enjoy theirs.
Beautiful roses. And winter really is coming, huh? Shiver!
Mild works for me. That is why I live below the snow belt.
Oh how I wish I could grow them!
